I finally downloaded the photos off my old OPTIO. here's a couple shots from last summer of an attempt at sailing a catamaran of two kayaks lashed together.
it needed a keel of some kind. also, more wind would have helped. I will try again someday.

shaun flattens yet another strip of the final layer of our new earthen floor. I can see why we use concrete these days... this is a hell of a lot of work. we should have kept a log of people's volunteer hours for this project, it's taken more than I expected.

so I was having some difficulty with my flash setup, and after hours of wrangling with it and doing research I got a response on the flickr K10D group discussion board - much to my joy and chagrin did I discover that my very frustrating problem was very simple, and without the manual or a good memory, very hidden.
but it was still embarrassing enough i was forced to shoot myself.
